13.5 x 22 inches
Theresa Pisani is an oil painter, muralist, and illustrator. With a primary emphasis on capturing the light, Theresa plans her paintings to capture a specific effect. Her paintings often evoke a mysterious atmosphere. A recent transplant to Louisiana, Theresa spent much of her life on the West Coast, in California, Washington, and Nevada. She has been a painter for many years, learning strong skills from painting large murals, such as in the Petaluma Wildlife Museum, where she painted large scale backgrounds for animal dioramas. She also worked with Charles Schulz’s son, Craig Schulz as one of the artists chosen to create Peanuts statues in Santa Rosa, California. Her influences include Edward Hopper and Rene Magritte. Today, the culture and beauty of New Orleans are reflected in her work.
