Angel is an accomplished acrylic/mixed media portrait painter and a captivating visual storyteller with an artistic journey spanning more than 15 enriching years. Originally from Baton Rouge and now a cherished resident of New Orleans, she skillfully weaves the narratives and experiences of individuals within the African diaspora into her artwork, instilling a profound sense of inspiration, enlightenment, and celebration of her heritage. 

 
Artist Statement: 

My artistic process begins with the kernel of an idea and organically evolves in tandem with my creative intuition, granting my work a certain authenticity. I incorporate an array of materials, including acrylic and oil paint, charcoal, fabric, graphite, and ink, each lending a unique facet to my expressive pieces.
